Empowering youth through work builds the foundation for opportunity, innovation & community growth

Youth Workforce Development

In underprivileged communities, many young people face limited access to education, skills training, and real economic opportunities. As a result, their potential often goes untapped, and cycles of poverty continue.

Our Youth Workforce Development initiative is committed to changing that reality.

We provide practical, income-generating skills, entrepreneurship training, and leadership development that prepare youth for sustainable livelihoods. Through hands-on training in sewing, artisan production, and small business development, participants gain both technical skills and the confidence to lead.

By nurturing resilience, creativity, and purpose, we empower young people to build independent futures, create opportunities for others, and contribute to stronger, thriving communities.

Restoring Dignity Through Rural Employment

In rural Haiti, unemployment is not only an economic concern—it is a structural barrier to survival. Over 60% of the population lives below the poverty line, with extreme poverty concentrated in rural communities. Limited infrastructure, weak market access, and insufficient economic investment have left thousands dependent on unstable informal labor. Sustainable job creation is essential to restoring long-term economic stability.

Rural Poverty Concentration

More than half of rural households live in poverty. The majority of those experiencing extreme poverty reside outside major urban centers, where economic infrastructure remains severely underdeveloped.

Informal & Vulnerable Employment

Over 80% of rural employment is informal. Families rely on subsistence farming, seasonal labor, and micro-trade activities that generate inconsistent income and provide no social protection.

Youth Underemployment

Youth unemployment and underemployment exceed 35%. Without vocational training, entrepreneurship pathways, or capital access, rural youth face limited economic mobility.

Migration as Economic Survival

Lack of opportunity forces many rural residents to migrate to overcrowded cities or abroad. This weakens rural economies further and disrupts long-term community stability.

Our Rural Employment Initiative

Our program focuses on job creation, vocational training, agricultural development, and small business empowerment in underserved rural communities. By equipping families with practical skills and access to resources, we build sustainable income pathways that restore economic dignity.

Youth workshops insight

Sewing & tailoring

Our sewing and tailoring workshop equips young people with practical skills that transform lives and communities. In many underserved areas, families often pay high costs for school uniforms and clothing. By teaching sewing expertise, we help youth create affordable solutions, support their families, and explore small business opportunities. Beyond vocational training, this program fosters entrepreneurship, independence, and confidence—turning a craft into a tool for economic empowerment.

Womens BEEHIVE

The Women’s Beehive Program is dedicated to empowering women by turning creativity into opportunity. Through hands-on training, women learn to craft and market handmade goods such as crochet hats, scrunchies, and bags. This program fosters financial independence, entrepreneurship, and confidence while building a supportive community. By nurturing talent and providing business guidance, it equips women to launch small enterprises, achieve economic stability, and inspire positive change in their communities.

Youth conference

We believe breaking cycles of poverty and building thriving communities starts with personal growth. Our conferences provide participants with practical skills, self-development tools, and guidance to recognize their potential. By fostering self-belief—mirroring God’s belief in them—they gain confidence, overcome challenges, and take steps toward economic and social empowerment. These programs equip youth and adults with both the skills and mindset to transform their lives and positively impact their communities.

job creation investment

Our Job Creation Investment program empowers youth and families by providing seed funding and guidance to launch small businesses in their communities. Resources are allocated where they are needed most, helping participants develop skills, gain economic independence, and create sustainable opportunities. By supporting these start-ups, we help shift personal and community narratives, fostering growth, confidence, and long-term prosperity.

Product Formulator

Living in underprivileged communities often means surviving on less than five dollars a day, making it difficult to afford basic necessities. Through our Product Formulator program, we connect youth and families with Haitian professionals who produce liquid soap, perfumes, and other goods. Participants learn hands-on skills to create these products themselves and gain the knowledge to start small businesses in their communities, fostering economic independence and the ability to thrive.
